Welcome to the
RDA Dutchy Group Website
The RDA Duchy Group was set up in 1989 by Polly Hart along with several friends including Eve Gerry, Eve Vineer, Judy Morris and Maureen Ryder. Initially the college provided suitable horses and over time the group started to purchase their own horses which the college looked after in return for allowing the students to use them. Today the group owns 3 horses which are also used as working liveries by the college. RDA Duchy Group meet every Wednesday during term time between 1pm and 4pm and use the large indoor school which enables us to ride all year round come rain or shine. The group provides riding and therapy for 18 children and adults and also the opportunity to compete at County, Regional and National competitions. The group rely totally on volunteers to deliver our ridden sessions each week and are completely self funding.
